Sunday Night Youth Group

Sundays, 6.30-8.30pm, Lanthorn Chapel

New for 2012, a youth group for 12-17 year olds.  We meet in the small chapel at the Lanthorn Centre on Sundays during term time.  The group runs 7-8.30pm, but the chapel is open from 6.30pm if you want to come along for a blether.

Note! The youth group will have a week off on 18th March as some of us will be away at the Synod Youth Forum.

The Scottish Episcopal Church has written a special prayer for the people of Norway following today's sad news:

Eternal God
In compassion
we remember the people of Norway.
Comfort the bereaved.
Give courage and healing to the injured.
Help all those who search for answers.
Bring stability, justice and hope to our world.
Amen

The Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland has sent a letter to the people of Norway assuring them of our support and prayers.  Read his letter here...

Youth Weekend at St. John's

17th - 19th February, St. John's Episcopal Church, Dumfries

A mixture of music, games, worship and deep stuff for secondary school aged young people organised by St. John's Episcopal Church, Dumfries.  The cost of the weekend is £20 and LEP Youth can help you with transport.  You can apply by dowloading the form below or by following the link to the online application:

Synod Youth Forum

16th - 18th March, Scottish Police College, Tulliallan

Anyone aged 12-16 is invited to join Synod Youth Forum as we explore living in community.  This fun-packed weekend is free of charge, and LEP Youth will provide transport for you.  All the information you need can be found below:

National Youth Assembly 2012 - Breaking Barriers

10th - 13th August, West Park Conference Centre, Dundee
